Alright!! We have an awesome new thing and you're going to love it.

We've always believed you should have your own branding on your Hello Pretty store. You're all awesome and everyone should know it.

Pretty Portable takes this one step further.
Now you can sell through your Facebook page, and embed your store into your website, and it's as easy as putting a YouTube video on your blog. Fancy! Can you say, spreading your empire!

It will pull your products into Facebook and your site without any branding other than a small Hello Pretty logo in the footer.

With Hello Pretty, Hello Man, Pretty Portable for websites and Pretty Portable for Facebook, you get four online stores of your own.

And, since you're probably wondering,
IT'S FREE

Set it up before the end of March and we'll give you a R50 gift voucher.

Here's how to use it:

1. Visit your store page
Click on the Embed your store link in your store's grey Manage dropdown.

Super lovely Nadia van der Mescht recently partnered with Hello Pretty to sell tickets for her latest creative workshops in Cape Town - and we were delighted!

I popped into one of the workshops at Dear Me last week, and true to form, Nadia had thought of every last detail. I hovered around takin photos and listening to some of her pearls of wisdom - I managed to catch the segment on relevant and constructive use of hashtags and from that alone I can highly recommend these workshops for any creative business owner!

The workshop covered creative goal setting, marketing and branding, blogging and social media tips, and how to approach the press, among many others - Nadia has a great way of personalising her content to be relevant to anyone.

Typically, her choice in venue was super - in fact, as someone that's new to Cape Town, I had never been there before, so immediately went back the next day for lunch. It was delicious - I can only imagine the treats they provided for the ladies at the workshop.

Nice one Nadia - I look forward to the next one!

I won a thing from Erika Wessels

I was late-night Facebook surfing. Don't judge. You do it too. My friend Jen liked Erika Wessels' page which then scrolled onto my feed. I knew of her - I was introduced to Erika's range by Elzanne, the designer behind Lo Studio. Jen owns a few of Erika's pieces.

Far left is a gift from Jen's 21st a few days ago ;), then Erika Wessels' bar bracelet, and the last two lovelies are Famke's chevron and circle bracelets.

I love the range, so I liked the page. And the clouds parted, a brilliant light did shine down from above, directly onto me, and a digital voice boomed down unto me:

Samantha.
You are lucky liker #400.
You have won a prize.
Send your address.

Wha... ?? A prize!? I didn't even like the page in order to enter! I didn't know that there was a prize to be won! I'm quite stingy about the pages I add to my Like list, so it really was lucky.

Two days later, a courier pitched up with this wonderful thing:

Jirrre jislaaik my excitement. I was too nervous to wear it for a bit in case this was a huge mistake and the courier would be returning to collect it again. Or it was an elaborate and cruel joke. But it wasn't. This beautiful oxidized silver druzy necklace (I forget what gem it is, quartz I think?) was all mine.

It was as though this necklace had been made just for me. Inside the envelope:

Erika's things are very, very nice. But don't believe me -> have a look here: https://hellopretty.co.za/ew-jewels.

Thank you Erika for this joyful experience and this exquisite necklace. I love it and I wear it all the time.
